Literature Text

Mechanical arms with well made copper fingers
All too shiny lips with a steady gaze
She extends the metal and grasps
The warmth of the breathing flesh
The flesh smiles staring with joy
Placed in her bright eyes
But the robotic one can't reach the same bliss
She can't figure it out
It was never put in the manual
She takes the warm hand
Wondering if she'd ever be like her
Bolts and screws come loose
As the silent lovers embrace
She can't place any emotion
When she stares at those bright eyes
But she's aware if what she should do
Make her happy and she complies
Smiling her standard warranty smile
She does what she was there to do;
Pretend.
So, it's personal and I'm kinda unsure about posting it. I might just take it down, I'm not one for putting up my poetry. D: It makes me nervous.

I'm planning on posting all my poems in my secret book(most people would know this to be my blue book) this week.
:T Smart idea, no?

(Btw, I have no idea how to properly format poetry. Yeah, I fail like that.)
